For twenty-five years, World Cares Center has trained and supported Ready Responders — the volunteers and community leaders who step forward in times of crisis to protect, serve, and restore hope.

Ready Responders do not hesitate. They enter flooded neighborhoods, fire zones, and devastated communities when every second counts. They bring order to chaos. They bring comfort to fear. Nanci is a true Ready Responder. When hurricane Melissa swept across Jamaica reeking havoc on the island her first instinct was to step in to ensure the community she calls her second home would get the aid that was needed.
We are honored to present Nanci with the 25th commemorative anniversary Ready Responders Award for her tireless dedication to helping Jamaica recover and build lasting capacity by empowering the country’s future leaders in physical and mental health.
