Kirstin Cole

Kirstin Cole is a reporter and anchor for the PIX 11 Morning News. The four-time Emmy Award Winner rejoined the station in 2011, having worked there during the original launch of the morning news in 2000-2001. In between, she was the consumer investigative reporter and anchor at WCBS-TV for ten years and substituted as an anchor on the CBS Morning News.

Shelli Sonstein


Born in Philadelphia, Shelli began her career with WMMR, and spent thirteen years at WPLJ. She currently co-hosts the Jim Kerr Rock and Roll Morning Show on Q104.3, America’s most listened-to rock station. Shelli has been an avid supporter of the first responder community. An activist at heart, she was instrumental in the campaign to pass the original Zadroga Act, which became law in 2011, ten years after the 9/11 terror attacks. Shelli will be returning to the Iron Skillet® Cook Off this year as a judge.


 Deonté L. Warren


He can currently be seen in Disney’s Aladdin on Broadway where he is standby for Genie, Babkak and the Sultan. He is from Nashville, TN. Favorite credits include Tour: Dreamgirls and Sister Act. Regional: Shrek and Tarzan at Arizona Broadway Theatre, Hairspray at ACCC and many others. Bachelor of Music (Belmont University). When not in Aladdin Deonté can be found in concerts throughout the city. Deonté released is debut solo Album “Love, Essential (Live in New York)” January 2019 and is available everywhere music is sold.

Thomas Huff


Former offensive guard of the Washington Redskins (1986-87), Thomas Huff, will be returning as a judge of the Iron Skillet® Cook Off. A graduate of Kean University in New Jersey, he is currently a business partner with BSB Construction and MAPEI Americas. He is a member of the NFL Alumni Association, and is a well-known NFL Players Association Guest Speaker (1986-2017). His days on the offensive line taught him that nothing can get in your way when victory hangs in the balance.

The ReadyResponder Lifetime of Leadership Award

Mr. Robert Fucito, Vice President of Enterprise Resiliency & Security,
Fannie Mae

For almost 40 years, Robert Fucito has led business and technology resiliency, crisis management, and physical security programs for some of the world’s most influential financial institutions including BNP Paribas, J.P. Morgan, and Fannie Mae.

Fucito successfully led crisis response and recovery efforts for several major disasters, including 9/11, the 2003 northeast blackout, the 2011 earthquake in Japan, Super Storm Sandy in 2012, and violent protests in Bangalore, India in 2016.

Throughout his career, Fucito has demonstrated his passion to make a difference for those in need. In partnership with Ready New York, a program with the New York City Office of Emergency Management, he created a corporate volunteer emergency response team and funded the training of a separate community emergency response team. Fucito co-led an intense four-month rebuilding effort in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina, during which his teams rebuilt fire houses, a school, and single-family homes. In collaboration with the owner of Continuity Insights, he established an annual post-conference community service workshop called Continuity Cares. Over more than 15 years, Fucito has volunteered time and efforts to support World Cares Center.

He has served as the NYC Chapter Chair and Vice Chair on the Executive Board of the Contingency Planning Exchange, is a member of the Business Resiliency and General Threats Committees for the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association and has been recently named as a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of Continuity Insights. Fucito speaks at conferences across the country to help further the knowledge of continuity professionals.

Paul Bennett, Contingency Planning Exchange

Paul Bennett, MPH MEP, holds the positions of Chief of Emergency Planning for the New York City Department of Environmental Protection’s Bureau of Water Supply, Captain in the Pawling Fire Department, and Lieutenant in Dutchess County Hazardous Materials Response Team. Paul has been involved in emergency services since 1979. Paul possesses a rare blend of education in, and real world experience with, municipal water supply/wastewater treatment plant operations, environmental compliance, HazMat/WMD operations, law enforcement, security, fire service, EMS, public health and the interdependencies between critical infrastructures. Over the years, Paul has coordinated emergency planning/response/recovery efforts with multiple local, State and Federal agencies and private organizations. Paul graduated in 1982 from Southampton College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology/Marine Geology, received a Master of Public Health degree from Columbia University in 1991 and in 2016 received certification from FEMA as a Master Exercise Practitioner.

Patrick Alesi, Contingency Planning Exchange

Patrick Alesi is the Executive Chairperson of the Contingency Planning Exchange (CPE).  In this role, he is responsible for managing the strategic direction of the CPE, including partnership and member development, and event programming.  Mr. Alesi is also an Executive Director and Head of Business Continuity Management for the Americas region at Nomura, having joined the firm in June 2010. Mr. Alesi‘s current responsibilities include strategic planning and incident response management as well as regulatory compliance for Business Continuity. Mr. Alesi previously worked for Lehman Brothers in the Business Continuity Management group, ultimately as global co-head of the function holding the title of Senior Vice President. Immediately following the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy, Mr. Alesi was a Director at Barclays Capital, where he served on the IT Transition team overseeing the delivery of data and IT services to former Lehman entities. Mr. Alesi also worked at the New York Mercantile Exchange as its Director of Systems, Operations, and Database Administration. Mr. Alesi has a BS in Management from New York University.
